Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. granulated sugar
    6 eggs
    6 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bake Duncan Hines brownies as directed. When cool, cover with a cherry pie filling and cover with a medium size Cool Whip or whipping cream.
