Ingredients

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation

Cook sugar and water 10 minutes. Add the flavoring.
Pour mixture over baked cake while it is still warm.
Let set until cool and turn out on cake plate. Frost with 7-Minute Frosting and sprinkle with coconut.
