Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 9-inch one crust pie
    12 slices bacon, crispy and crumbled
    4 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/3 c. minced onion
    4 eggs
    2 c. whipping cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry as package directs. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell.
    Beat eggs slightly, then beat in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pie shell; bake for 15 minutes.
    Reduce oven to 300\u00b0; bake 30 minutes longer, or until knife inserted one inch from edge comes out clean.
    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
