Vienna Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. apricot jam
    1 large egg yolk
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar for sprinkling
Preparation
    Cream the butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
    Add the flour and knead until smooth.
    Wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
    Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick and cut into 2-inch squares. Place 1/4 teaspoon jam on each and fold diagonally.
    Press down around edges and place on cookie sheets in crescent shape.
    Beat together egg yolk and milk.
    Brush glaze onto cookie and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
    Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
