Chicken Cordon Bleu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved
    6 thin slices boiled ham
    shortening
    3 slices Mozzarella cheese, halved
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    flour
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Place
    chicken\tpieces,
    boned\tside
    up, between waxed paper. Working
    from center, lightly beat until approximately 5
    x 5-inches.
    Peel
    off waxed paper.
    Place a ham slice and half slice of cheese on each piece of chicken, cutting to fit. Roll meat up
    and
    tuck\tin
    sides.
    Secure with wooden picks. Coat each roll with
    flour;
    dip in beaten egg.\tRoll in bread crumbs. Fry in
    deep
    shortening heated to 340\u00b0 until golden, about 5 minutes.
    Remove
    picks
    and
    keep\twarm until served. Also good with a cheese sauce poured over.
