Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 (16 oz.) cans Mexican style chili beans (undrained)
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (4.5 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 (1 oz.) pkg. Ranch Style salad dressing (dry)
    1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown ground beef; add onion (saute).
    Drain.
    To this, add remaining ingredients and cook for 30 to 45 minutes until thickened.
    Toppings for soup can include tortilla chips, cheese, chopped tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream.
