Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and mix well. Sift flour, salt and sugar together. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
Sift flour, salt and soda together.
Add slowly to mixture. Add pecans.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Space about 2-inches apart and bake at 350\u00b0 about 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
