Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mild onions
    4 c. cabbage
    10 green tomatoes (5 lb.)
    8 red bell peppers (4 lb.)
    4 yellow peppers (2 lb.)
    4 green peppers (2 lb.)
Preparation
    First grind everything in grinder with medium small fitting. Put all ingredients into earthenware crock.
    Sprinkle with a couple handfuls of salt.
    Cover and soak overnight.
    Drain after 24 hours.
    Pack into pint jars and water bath process about 20 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 12 pints.
