Sweet And Sour Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 to 8 slices bacon, diced, fried crisp, drained and set aside
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Preparation

Combine ingredients.
Stir with whisk and cook until thickened.
Add crisped bacon.
Use over lettuce or tender endive.
