Date Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk (evaporated)
    1/4 lb. pitted dates
    1/4 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Place sugar and milk in a saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Increase heat and boil to a soft ball.
    Stir in cut up dates and cook for 2 to 3 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat and beat until thick; add nuts and roll in foil.
