Chicken Marengo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
    1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    2 fresh tomatoes, quartered
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
Preparation
    Place chicken in bottom of crock-pot.
    Combine dry spaghetti sauce mix with wine; pour over chicken.
    Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
    Turn control to high and add tomatoes and mushrooms.
    Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes or until tomatoes are done.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
