Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers (after slicing)
    6 c. vinegar
    5 lb. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 1/4 tsp. whole cloves
    1 1/4 tsp. ground mace
    12 sticks cinnamon
    2 c. lime
Preparation
    1st Day:
    Soak cucumbers in the lime in enough water to cover the cucumbers for 24 hours.
    Dissolve sugar in vinegar.
    Make sure it is dissolved good.
    I dissolve the sugar and vinegar overnight.
