Applesauce-Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. liquid egg substitute
3/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. canola oil
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. grated raw carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with nonstick vegetable coating.
Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the carrots.
Mix well. Add carrots and mix well.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Contains 209 calories, cholesterol is negligible, 5 grams fat and 228 sodium.
