Bachelor'S Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef roast
    salt, pepper and garlic salt
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    small bottle Coca-Cola
    14 oz. bottle catsup
Preparation
    Score roast in several places and fill each score with 1/2 teaspoon each salt, pepper and garlic salt.
    Sear well on both sides in hot oil.
    Remove roast from pan; drain off excess fat and place in foil-lined pan.
    Pour cake and catsup over roast.
    Cover loosely with foil and bake 3 hours at 325\u00b0.
