Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    6 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour (not used to coat fruit)
Preparation
    Cut up fruit and coat with flour.
    Mix ingredients into batter.
    Add fruit and nuts.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 275\u00b0 in tube pan.
