Greek Melama Karona - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 3/4 to 2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine and beat oil and butter until blended.
    Beat in 1/3 cup sugar and add 1 tablespoon orange juice, baking powder and soda.
    Mix well.
    With mixer, add enough flour (a little at a time) to make a soft dough.
    Shape dough into 2-inch ovals and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 22 minutes or until lightly golden.
    Cool on wire rack.
