Classic French Dressing - cooking recipe

3 parts olive oil
1 part wine vinegar
salt
freshly ground black pepper
Preparation

When making the dressing at the dinner table: Pour olive oil over greens and toss until greens are coated. Add vinegar, salt and pepper and toss well. When making the dressing in advance, simply combine all the ingredients in a jar or cruet. Cover. Shake well before using.
