Calico Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pork and beans (16 oz.)
    1 can red kidney beans (16 oz.)
    1 can green lima beans (16 oz.)
    1/4 lb. chopped bacon
    1 medium onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Drain all of the beans and save the liquid.
    Brown bacon, beef and onion.
    Add all of the drained beans and mix well. Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Combine brown sugar, ketchup, melted shortening, salt, vinegar and enough of bean liquid to just cover the mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    If mixture appears dry, more bean liquid may be added.
