Granola - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. sesame seed
1 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. sunflower seeds (raw preferred), shelled of course
1/2 c. peanut oil
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. molasses
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam. In a large bowl, add in this order oats, sesame seed, coconut, wheat germ and sunflower seeds. Mix thoroughly and add oil, honey and molasses and stir. Spread evenly on cookie sheet. Place in oven and cook until golden brown. Stir frequently (about one hour). Add your choice of any or all of the following:
chopped pecans, sliced almonds, dried fruit bits, raisins, dried cranberries and apricots. Stir and return to oven briefly. Cool completely and store in airtight containers. Makes about 2 quarts.
