French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar and egg.
    Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Add flour mixture and milk, alternately to creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Grease
    muffin pan; fill cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
