Creamy Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cold water
2 (8 1/4 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Dissolve
gelatin
in
boiling water.
Chill until thick but not
set.
Drain
pineapple reserving 1/4 cup liquid.
Fold pineapple
and
pecans into gelatin mixture.
Pour into lightly oiled 9-inch square pan.
Chill until almost set, then dissolve gelatin
in
water.
Add
reserved pineapple liquid.
Gradually add to cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
Pour over lime gelatin layer.
Chill until firm.
