Raisin-Brandy Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. apple or peach brandy
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. apple juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

After frying slices of country ham, drain off the excess grease and add a little water to the drippings.
Scrape the water and drippings together with a metal spatula and then add a tablespoon of strong coffee.
Boil this liquid mixture and serve along with the sliced ham.
