Pizzelles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine (do not substitute for oil)
4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. vanilla or anise
Preparation

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually.
Beat until smooth.
Add cooled and melted margarine and vanilla or anise.
Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture.
Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon on griddle.
Makes 60 pizzelles.
Can add walnuts or pecans if desired.
