Slow-Cooker Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 14 cooking apples
    2 c. cider
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Peel, core and chop apples to measure about 16 cups.
    Combine apples and cider in electric slow cooker.
    Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or until apples are mushy.
    Puree in food mill or sieve.
    Return pureed mixture to pot.
    Add sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
    Cover and cook on low 1 hour.
    Makes 8 cups.
