Ingredients

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add sugar, dates and vanilla.
Beat egg; add mixture to egg.
Mix Rice Krispies and pecans.
Pour hot mixture over Rice Krispies and pecans.
Roll into small balls and in coconut.
