Broccoli With Red Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. broccoli
    1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced thinly
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1 medium clove garlic, peeled and minced
    up to 1/3 c. low-sodium chicken broth
    1 tsp. lemon zest
Preparation
    Cut off broccoli flowerets and slice the stems to make diagonal pieces.
    Saute the broccoli and pepper pieces in the oil with the garlic over medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Turn the heat to medium and add the chicken broth a little at a time, stirring frequently.
    Continue to add the broth, cooking and stirring until the broccoli is done as desired, about 5 to 6 minutes.
    Garnish with the lemon zest and serve immediately.
    Serves 4.
