Mama Sue'S Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

dash of salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 orange
1 c. raisins
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2/3 c. sour milk

Preparation

Grind orange and raisins (rind and all on orange) together. Save 1/3 cup of this for icing. Cream Crisco and sugar. Add egg and mix well. Add vanilla. Add flour and soda alternately with sour milk. Add orange and raisin mix. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 25 minutes.
