Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. nuts
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift soda and salt with flour.
    Mix firm butter and flour together until it looks like crumbs.
    Add brown sugar, then nuts. Beat eggs together until light; mix into the dough which will be rather firm.
    Knead until smooth, then make into the size roll desired.
    Wrap in waxed paper; place in refrigerator overnight or until thoroughly chilled.
    Slice cookies very thin; place on greased baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown, approximately 12 minutes.
    This dough will keep for several days. Makes 5 to 6 dozen cookies.
    Keep in tightly covered container.
