Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 orange
boiling water
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raw cranberries
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together twice.
Put juice of one orange in cup. Add 2 tablespoons melted shortening and fill remainder of cup to 3/4 full with boiling water.
Add with 1 egg to dry ingredients and mix together.
Add 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 cup raw cranberries.
Pour into lightly greased pans. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Makes 2 small loaf cakes.
Delicious served warm with butter.
