Lela Engling'S Chicken Almond Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, cubed
    3/4 c. celery, diced
    1/4 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. sliced onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. thin cream
    4 oz. noodles
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. toasted almonds, slivered
Preparation
    Saute celery, onions and mushrooms in butter.
    Cook noodles according to package directions.
    Combine noodles and sauteed vegetables with remaining ingredients (except almonds) and pour into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with almonds and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
    Serves 6.
