Strizzis Linguine Carciofi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh linguine noodles
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. fresh garlic
    4 c. heavy cream
    1/4 lb. Prosciutto ham, thinly sliced
    1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, quartered
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    4 Tbsp. slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation
    Over medium heat, melt the butter and add the fresh garlic. Simmer the garlic for approximately 5 minutes, being careful not to brown the garlic.
    Add the heavy cream and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
