Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli or 2 pkg. frozen, cut in bite size pieces
    2 pkg. frozen English peas
    1 head cauliflower or 2 pkg. frozen, cut in bite size pieces
    2 bunches green onion, chopped
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 regular bottle bacon bits
Preparation
    Blanch vegetables in boiling water for about 1 minute.
    Drain; rinse in cold water until cooled.
    Mix the Hidden Valley dressing with the mayonnaise; set aside.
