Scampi Georgio - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. large shrimp
    2 Tbsp. olive oil (virgin)
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    4 large cloves garlic, chopped
    4 green onions, minced
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1 Tbsp. chopped basil
    1/2 Tbsp. chopped oregano
    salt, white pepper, black pepper and cayenne pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Heat the butter and oil in a saute pan.
    Add garlic and onions and saute until golden.
    Do not let the garlic burn as it will tend to caramelize.
    Add the wine and deglaze the pan.
    Now, add the parsley, basil and oregano.
    Simmer until wine has reduced almost completely.
    Add salt and peppers; check taste.
    Now, add the shrimp and lemon juice; toss until shrimp are pink and tender. Serve over al dente capaldoni.
