Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 lb. pineapple, chopped
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. red cherries
    1 c. unsifted plain flour
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan good with oleo and lightly flour. Spread even 2 cups chopped pecans on bottom of pan.
    Mix 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 stick oleo, 1 cup unsifted plain flour and 2 well beaten eggs.
    Spread on pecans.
    Take 1/2 pound red cherries and 1/2 pineapple and spread on batter.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Cool in pan before cutting.
