Low Cholesterol, Fat-Free Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. applesauce
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/4 c. evaporated skim milk
    1 c. cake or all-purpose flour, with 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. whole wheat bran
Preparation
    Beat the first 4 ingredients in blender until fluffy; set aside.
    Blend dry ingredients with whisk.
    Make well.
    Add liquid ingredients, folding lightly with wooden spoon 20 minutes.
    Put 1/2 batter in Teflon muffin tin or one sprayed with vegetable spray. Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Turn out immediately onto board and upright to cool. Best served warm.
