Richard Sterben'S Shrimp Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    5 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 lb. small to medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1 lb. fettuccine, cooked
    pepper to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook pasta with 1 tablespoon oil.
    Set aside.
    Saute garlic, basil, oregano, onion and pepper in olive oil for 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.
    Add shrimp and simmer 20 minutes. Salt to taste.
    Serve over pasta.
