Walnut Bourbon Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/3 c. bourbon
    3 Tbsp. corn syrup
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl, thoroughly mix vanilla wafers, confectioners sugar, walnuts and cocoa.
    Mix in bourbon and corn syrup.
    Mix well, adding a little more bourbon, if too dry.
    With hands, roll mixture into 1-inch balls, then roll each
    into granulated sugar. Store tightly covered.
    Makes about 36 candies.
