Cornell Barbecue Sauce For Chicken - cooking recipe

1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 egg
2 large chickens (either in halves or cut up)
Preparation

Mix oil, vinegar, salt, poultry seasoning, white pepper and egg until all is well mixed. Place chicken in a large flat glass baking dish.
Pour marinade over.
Cover and let marinate overnight or at least 8 hours. Drain chicken on paper towels before barbecuing.
Place chicken on grill over burned down coals until chicken is browned and crisp.
