Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. onions
    1/4 lb. margarine, melted
    8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. evaporated milk
    34 small saltine crackers
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Slice onions.
    Place in pan.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cook in enough water to cover until tender; drain.
    Crush crackers and mix crumbs with cheeses and margarine.
    Put half of the crumb mixture in a casserole dish and put drained onions on top.
    Pour evaporated milk over casserole in pan and top with the other half of the crumb mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
