Orange-Pineapple Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. carrots, sliced and cooked (1 lb.)
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. crushed pineapple
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger and parsley flakes.
Add orange juice and pineapple.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
Cook, stirring 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in butter.
Pour sauce over hot carrots, stirring lightly to coat.
Yield:
4 to 6 servings.
