Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. grated mild cheese
    1 (3 oz.) lemon jello
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add jello and dissolve.
    Add 1 1/2 cups cold water to pineapple mixture.
    Stir, pour into dish and chill until partially set. Combine cheese, nuts and Cool Whip.
    Stir into jello mixture. Chill until firm.
