Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

5 to 7 tart apples
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Pare and cut up apples;
arrange
in pie plate.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon;
sprinkle over apples.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar and flour, cut
in
butter
until
crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake in hot oven
(400\u00b0)
for 40 minutes or until done.
