Sloppy Joes With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 small red or green pepper, cut into strips
    1 c. barbecue sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. Minute original rice, uncooked
    shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion and pepper in large skillet on medium heat; drain.
    Stir in barbecue sauce.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Bring water and salt to boil in medium saucepan.
    Stir in rice; cover.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork.
    Serve meat mixture over rice. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Makes 4 servings.
