Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce, shredded
1 c. celery, coarsely chopped
1 c. green pepper, coarsely chopped
1 c. onion, coarsely chopped
1 can LeSueur green peas, drained
1 to 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Kraft sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can bacon bits
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
lemon juice
Preparation

Arrange in layers the lettuce, celery, green peppers, onion, green peas and Cheddar cheese (this is optional or light cheese may be used).
Top with bacon bits.
