Melt In Your Mouth Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 turkey
    salt to taste
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Place turkey in large stock pot (I use a canner).
    Place a saucer or small cake pan under turkey.
    Cover with water.
    Salt to taste.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook until just done. Let cool until you can remove from pot.
    Place in broiler pan; rub skin with butter or margarine.
    Brown in oven.
    Use reserved stock for stuffing and gravy.
