Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. Crisco
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 c. molasses
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. sugar (for rolling)
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine.
Mix in egg and molasses. Add flour, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon and ginger.
Form into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in sugar.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
