Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. oil
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. (1 lb.) finely grated carrots
Preparation
    Grease and flour 3 (9-inch) layer cake pans.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix oil and sugar; beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Fold in carrots and nuts.
    Divide evenly in 3 pans and bake for 30 minutes.
    Remove from pans and cool on racks.
    Cut each layer in half, so there are 6 layers.
    Frost layers with Carrot Cake Icing (recipe follows).
