Best Ever Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    46 oz. can tomato soup
    4 beef or chicken bouillon cubes
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
    4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 small head cabbage, shredded
    4 carrots, thinly sliced or shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large saucepan or stockpot, combine tomato juice and bouillon cubes and bring to a boil, stirring continuously until cubes are completely dissolved; lower heat to simmer and add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until cabbage and carrots are tender.
    Freezes well.
    Serves 8.
