Mandarin Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
    4 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 head iceberg lettuce
    1/4 head romaine lettuce
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 green onions, chopped
    11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
Preparation
    Heat almonds with sugar over low-heat in a heavy skillet, stirring constantly, until sugar is just melted and almonds are coated.
    Cool and break apart.
    Store at room temperature.
    Combine vinegar, sugar, parsley, salt, pepper and vegetable oil in a screw-top jar.
    Shake well to mix and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
    Combine lettuces, celery, green onions and oranges. Toss with dressing.
    Add almonds and toss gently.
    Serve immediately.
    Makes 4 servings.
