Sausage 'N' Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Polish sausage
    1 can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
    1 can tomatoes, chopped (do not drain liquid)
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut the sausage into 1-inch slices; saute in a Dutch oven until fully cooked and browned; drain.
    Add sauerkraut, tomatoes with liquid, celery, onion, green pepper, brown sugar and seasonings; mix well.
    Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Remove bay leaf before serving.
